Victoria is a Senior Associate Solicitor-Advocate in our Military Claims team.
Victoria first joined Bolt Burdon Kemp as a paralegal in 2015 before commencing her training contract with the firm and qualifying as a solicitor into our Military team in April 2018.
Victoria has worked on a number of high-profile claims and inquests, such as the Voyager and Snatch Land Rover litigation and the inquest of Olivia Perks. She has experience in helping people achieve compensation for both psychiatric injury and physical injuries.
Victoria completed her Higher Rights training in January 2021 and regularly provides advocacy services for her clients. She was named the Times Lawyer of the week in March 2026 having represented the family of Jack Burnell-Williams at an inquest in February 2026.
Victoria’s specialist interest lies in helping families pursue claims where negligence has sadly resulted in loss of life. As part of this she has supported and represented military families at high-profile Inquests and during service inquiries. Having advocated for families during the inquest process, Victoria employs her extensive experience of the different civil claims that can be brought following a death, to advise and represent families for claims under the Fatal Accident Acts and the Human Rights Act. Victoria was invited to be part of the expert panel at the APIL Military Conference discussing Human Rights Act claims and has been involved in various consultations regarding the proposed abolition of the Human Rights Act.
Victoria is passionate about changing the law for the better and is working on a number of campaigns to improve access to justice. She has been involved in Bolt Burdon Kemp’s response to the proposed changes with legal aid funded inquests to ensure the objectives of the Hillsborough Bill are met.
