Marie-Joelle is a solicitor in our military claims team. She joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in August 2018 as a Paralegal in the Child Brain Injury team and helped seriously injured children and their families to help secure compensation and rehabilitation from their injuries.
Marie-Joelle studied Philosophy at Oxford Brookes University and graduated in 2016. She enjoyed problem-solving, logical reasoning and formulating arguments, which led her to complete the GDL and LPC at BPP University.
Prior to joining Bolt Burdon Kemp, Marie-Joelle worked as a legal assistant at an immigration firm where she gained valuable transferable skills, such as being approachable and flexible. Marie-Joelle also was a student adviser at the BPP Pro Bono Clinic where she solved legal issues for clients and managed their expectations in an empathetic and transparent manner.
Marie-Joelle is passionate about helping others and has worked on a variety of humanitarian projects, where she has travelled to India and Honduras to support communities in need.
