Lucy joined the Public Affairs team at Bolt Burdon Kemp in October 2023 and works alongside Sonita Hayward, Head of Public Affairs. As Public Affairs Executive, Lucy has a specific focus on campaigns and effecting change through engagement with lawmakers.

Prior to joining BBK, Lucy worked in Parliament for over five years, gaining political, parliamentary and Government experience working on a wide range of issues including housing, immigration, children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and domestic abuse support. She uses this experience to assist the firm in campaigning for issues that align with BBK’s values and help affect meaningful change that impact their clients.

Lucy graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Politics and Social Policy. She is now completing a part time Law Conversion Masters at BPP.

Lucy is a local Councillor in the London Borough of Barnet with a specific focus on Education and Adult Social Care. She is also a trustee of Stonegrove Community Trust, Day’s and Atkinson’s Almshouse Charity and is a School Governor.
