Committed to swiftly progressing claims

Tanith is a Solicitor at Bolt Burdon Kemp, having initially joined the firm as a paralegal in May 2017.

She has been commended for her approachable and flexible manner and prides herself on ensuring clients are provided with clear advice and support throughout their claim.

Her previous experience includes having assisted in cases representing both children and adults who have suffered medical negligence.  She has gained good knowledge in brain injury cases from her time spent in the Adult Brain Injury team before starting her training contract.  She has prior experience helping those who have suffered orthopaedic, surgical and oncological injuries.

Alongside her paralegal role, Tanith previously acted as a court clerk for the firm, which allowed her to gain significant experience in undertaking advocacy in front of Judges, making oral submissions in relation to applications on behalf of the firm’s clients and obtaining approval of consent, settlement and anonymity orders.

Tanith is very passionate about helping others through volunteering and other means.  She has advised members of the public on legal and social issues at the Citizens’ Advice Bureau and previously acted as a carer for people with multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and motor neurone disease.  These opportunities have given Tanith a deeper understanding of the day to day difficulties often experienced by those with long-term serious injuries.  As such, she is particularly interested in arranging rehabilitation for clients who have suffered significant and complex injuries.

Tanith is a keen supporter of the Child Brain Injury Trust, Headway and The Encephalitis Society, having fundraised for each charity.

After completing her law degree at the University of Sussex in 2014, Tanith obtained her postgraduate diploma in legal practice, achieving a commendation.  She has substantial legal experience, having previously worked in the litigation department of a legal services firm, as well as undertaking a paralegal role in Oxfordshire.
