Ryan is a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence and Accident Claims team at Bolt Burdon Kemp.

Ryan joined the firm in February 2018 as a paralegal in the Spinal Injury team. He later secured a training contract at Bolt Burdon Kemp in October 2020 and gained experience in several departments at the firm before qualifying as a Solicitor in April 2022.

Ryan is passionate about helping those who have suffered significant injury secure justice and compensation for their injuries.  He is particularly interested in claims involving complex medical issues.  Ryan takes pride in being approachable and taking a personable and pragmatic approach to his work.

Ryan has experience investigating and litigating high-value medical negligence and personal injury claims including cases involving delayed diagnosis of cancer, surgical errors, road traffic accidents, accidents at work, psychiatric injury, and fatal accidents. His experience includes working on cases involving those who lacked capacity. He also works closely with the rest of the Medical Negligence and Accident Claims team on complex and high value personal injury and medical negligence claims.

Prior to embarking in a career in law, Ryan obtained a degree in Biology from the University of Bath. He spent several years working in medical research and in the healthcare industry.  He likes to utilise his scientific background to help understand technical and complicated medical issues in order to help secure the best outcome for clients.
