Khelam is a Solicitor in the Child Brain Injury team having joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in March 2024.

Before joining Bolt Burdon Kemp, Khelam worked for a national law firm and specialised in representing Claimants, both UK based and internationally, who suffered from asbestos related diseases. His clients and their families suffered the effects of debilitating respiratory illnesses after being negligently exposed to asbestos in the course of their employment. Conditions claimed for include mesothelioma, asbestos-related lung cancer, asbestosis and pleural thickening.

Khelam has experience in handling cases at all stages of litigation. He is passionate about helping vulnerable Claimants achieve the redress they deserve. Having worked closely with Claimants and their families, he is empathetic to the sensitive nature of the conditions they suffer from and is attentive to the support Claimants need when guiding them through the claims process. Khelam is dedicated to achieving the maximum amount of compensation, treatment and support for his clients at the earliest possible stage.

After attaining his LLB at Coventry University, he achieved his LLM with The University of Manchester, with a particular focus on the interaction between healthcare, law and ethics. Khelam qualified as a Solicitor through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) in September 2023 with The University of Law.
