Evangeline is a Solicitor at Bolt Burdon Kemp. She joined the firm as a paralegal in October 2017.
Evangeline prides herself on her friendly nature and ability to be flexible in her work. She is incredibly passionate about making a difference to the lives of injured people. She particularly enjoys being able to scrutinise potential claims in order to determine the specific issues of medical negligence.
During her Training Contract at Bolt Burdon Kemp, Evangeline gained invaluable experience assisting on cases representing those who have suffered medical negligence and personal injury, including orthopaedic and spinal injuries, brain injury, surgical and oncological injuries.
Evangeline now assists Tom Lax in the Spinal Injury team working on a variety of complex medical negligence cases involving spinal surgery and missed/ delayed diagnosis of Cauda Equina Syndrome. She also has a varied experience in personal injury claims including road traffic accidents and accidents at work which have resulted in serious spinal injuries.
Alongside her paralegal role, Evangeline previously acted as the firm’s Court Clerk which allowed her to gain significant experience in undertaking advocacy in front of judges, making oral submissions in applications and approval for consent or settlement orders.
Evangeline is a keen supporter of various spinal charities including, the Spinal Injury Association and Horatio’s Garden and is responsible for the Spinal Injury team Instagram account.
