Daria joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in September 2024, as a Senior Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team.

Daria qualified as a solicitor in 2018. Since qualifying, Daria has specialised in cases involving complex, life-changing injuries. Her expertise spans a wide range of claims, including complex orthopaedic injuries, amputations, surgical injuries, upper and lower limb injuries, hip and knee replacements, and fractures. Daria is also experienced in handling cases of brain and spinal injuries, cancer misdiagnosis, birth injuries, psychiatric injuries, as well as negligence in GP, ophthalmology, and dental care.

Daria is highly experienced in successfully litigating contested medical negligence claims of the utmost complexity, including a multimillion-pound hip replacement and amputation case. She has experience in appeals and detailed assessment proceedings.

Daria has a proven track record of achieving the best possible settlement to provide financial redress and access to vital care, assistance and treatment for her clients to empower them to rebuild and live their best possible lives going forward.

Daria is particularly passionate about the role of modern technology in healthcare, including diagnostics, artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation, and how these advancements impact patient safety. She has a keen interest in claims involving the deployment of advanced medical technologies.

In addition to her legal practice, Daria is a strong advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion, access to justice, and mental health and wellbeing. She sits on the Law Society Council and chairs its Membership Committee. She is also a co-opted member of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee. Daria has been nominated for the Inspirational Women in Law Awards and is a regular speaker at legal conferences focussing on the professional development of lawyers and medical professionals. She is also a frequent contributor to legal publications and media.

She completed her LPC with the University of Law in London and holds a master’s degree in law, business and management with the same university.
