Brendan joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in April 2024 and is a Paralegal in the Military Claims team. In his role, he assists Gaggan Mawi with a wide variety of cases, including those involving harassment, abuse, clinical negligence and accidents in the training of service personnel. He enjoys working with Service personnel to deliver the best support and client care through the many challenges they face in bringing forward their claims.
He is committed to ensuring that current Service personnel and veterans receive full compensation for any harm they have suffered in the course of their service. Litigation is often a stressful and emotionally challenging process, so he strives to ensure his clients receive the highest level of care and support. Brendan will go to great lengths to ensure that defendants cannot obstruct or obfuscate the fair claims of those who have committed their careers, and often their lives, to our armed forces.
Brendan studied Law at Lancaster University, with the ambition of making a substantial difference to the lives of individuals in need of support and advocacy. After graduating from university with first class honours, he gained experience working in a personal injury chambers as a Legal Admin Assistant, before his passion for access to justice and claimant work led him to join BBK.
Brendan hopes to qualify as a solicitor to manage his own caseload of military claims, with a speciality in complex injuries, abuse, bullying and harassment.
