Anamta joined Bolt Burdon Kemp as a Junior Support Clerk in April 2024. She joined the Support Team, where she assists all practice areas within the firm by managing legal administration responsibilities. These include scanning and formatting documents, preparing trial bundles, distributing incoming post and dispatching outgoing post. She also liaises with fee earners and carries out general office housekeeping, such as restocking stationary and tidying meeting rooms.
Prior to joining Bolt Burdon Kemp, Anamta volunteered at a legal clinic specialising in the Windrush Compensation Scheme. She supported her supervising solicitor by drafting witness statements, collecting evidence and drafting a submission bundle. She was committed to completing these administrative tasks to the best of her ability; she worked closely with her team to submit a successful compensation claim for their client. Anamta is passionate about helping vulnerable clients receive justice, which she brings to her role at Bolt Burdon Kemp.
Furthermore, Anamta worked in a hospital café, where she served coffee and breakfast/lunch meals to visitors. She enjoyed adapting to the fast-paced nature of the role and being a friendly face to customers.
Anamta brings the experience she gained from the hospitality industry and the Windrush legal clinic to provide the best service to fee earners and clients. Anamta is passionate about personal injury and medical negligence claims – she wishes to develop her career in one of these areas in the future.
