Part of the Brain Injury Team
Sezan joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in November 2017.
Sezan is a Solicitor in the Child Brain Injury team. She works closely with senior members of the team on complex and high-value child brain injury cases.
Sezan is passionate about seeking justice for children and their families and helping to secure the right provision for their needs.
Before specialising in cases involving child brain injury, Sezan represented individuals in a range of medical negligence, personal injury, community care and education matters. After qualifying as a Solicitor in March 2017, Sezan had her own mixed caseload of surgical negligence, fatal claims and delay in diagnosis, whilst also assisting on complex claims involving brain damage and birth injury. Sezan also has experience of working on high value personal injury cases, mainly involving road traffic accidents.
Sezan provides support to charities and her local community through fundraising and voluntary work. Most recently she volunteered with Liberty as an Advice and Information Volunteer and in her local primary school where she supported children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs.
Sezan read Classics at Royal Holloway (University of London). She then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in London.
