Mollie Benjamin

Mollie is a Senior Solicitor in the Child Brain Injury Team.  She is passionate about representing children who have suffered brain injuries and their families to secure the right provisions for their needs.

She joined the firm in October 2018 after completing her training contract.  During her training, she acted only for claimants, many of whom were trade union members, where she gained experience in employment law, personal injury and clinical negligence.  She worked on a wide variety of matters including road traffic accidents and industrial disease claims and has successfully presented applications before District Judges in the County Court.  Mollie spent the final year of her training contract working with the head of the clinical negligence department, where she gained experience on a variety of birth injury claims, claims involving delayed diagnoses and fatal claims.

Mollie also has experience in assisting a professional financial deputy in the management of compensation and the purchase of properties on behalf of Claimants who had suffered brain injuries.

Mollie is driven by seeing the difference that compensation can make to the quality of life of a child after they have suffered injury, as well as the effect on their family, by enabling access to therapies, rehabilitation and ongoing support.

Mollie studied Law at the University of Sussex and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at BPP University in London.

Mollie enjoys travelling and she visits her family home in France as often as she can to improve her spoken French.  She also enjoys playing badminton and cycling.
