Part of the Brain Injury Team
She assists on a variety of cases, for both personal injury and clinical negligence. Katie has particular experience in investigating claims for adults who have suffered a brain injury following road traffic accidents as well as a stroke due to negligence. She attends the High Court in London in respect of applications and listing of trial on behalf of the firm.
She studied Costume, Makeup and Technical Effects at the University of the Arts in London, and worked as a model and mould maker for 10 years. During her time, she worked extensively on sculpting silicone prosthetic limbs for amputees and making medical models for trainee doctors to practice on. This gave her a unique insight into the difficulties faced by those who are physically disabled, and their needs, as well as an in depth understanding into anatomy.
She decided to pursue a career in law and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law in London in 2019. Katie aims to become a solicitor after completion of her Legal Practice Course and legal training. She hopes to specialise in personal injury and clinical negligence.
Katie is commended for her approachable and flexible manner. She is passionate about helping those injured by accidents or negligence, and works with clients to understand their individual needs. She works closely alongside independent medical experts and barristers in investigating potential allegations of negligence and honing the evidence needed to win a case.
