Part of the Military Claims Team
Hannah is a senior solicitor in the military team at Bolt Burdon Kemp, having joined the firm in September 2015. She works on a wide variety of complex and high value personal injury and clinical negligence claims on behalf of service personnel and their families.
Since joining Bolt Burdon Kemp, Hannah has worked on pioneering litigation involving the wrongful prescription of the anti-malarial drug Lariam. She has settled several clinical negligence claims against the MoD for delays in diagnosing and treating service personnel who have suffered with PTSD. She has also secured significant financial compensation for a number of soldiers who have suffered non-freezing cold injuries, after been negligently exposed to the cold while attending training exercises.
She has significant experience in personal injury claims involving training accidents, defective work equipment, noise-induced hearing loss, harassment and stress at work. She currently acts for a number of service personnel who have been subject to bullying and harassment during their military careers and regularly advises those pursuing service complaints.
Hannah is passionate about supporting her clients, many of whom have suffered life-changing injuries. She has an understanding of the issues which affect service personnel whose careers have been ended by injury and the process of transition from military to civilian life. She fights to secure early compensation to ensure that her clients’ care and treatment needs are met as soon as possible.
Prior to joining the firm she completed her training contract at a firm specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence and has worked on high value cases involving brain and spinal injuries.
