As the weather turns colder we are expecting to see an increase in military compensation claims for careers cut short due to cold injuries. At this time of year many new recruits take part in their final training exercises on the Brecon Beacons, but even in this harsh climate cold injuries are not inevitable. With the correct cold weather equipment cold injuries are entirely preventable. Hopefully this year will buck the trend and we will not see an increase in claims.
