As a personal injury solicitor at Bolt Burdon Kemp I am of course always drawn to news stories about accidents at work and health and safety however I am also interested in other things like health. I was delighted to see in the news today that San Francisco has become the first major U.S. city to pass a law that cracks down on restaurants giving away free toys with unhealthy meals for children. The San Francisco law would allow toys to be given away with kids' meals that have less than 600 calories, contain fruits and vegetables, and include drinks without excessive fat or sugar. This has to be a good thing with the worrying trend of obesity in children here and in America. Lets hope this becomes law here.
