Watch out in military training
March 02, 2011
We often see military personnel suffering with fractures following training exercises, and new recruits must be doubly careful. Assault courses are particularly dangerous places if you don't know what you're doing, and many recruits will not have encountered one before. Unfortunately, we see recruits who have been 'beasted' to complete assault courses in record time when they are still learning basic techniques such as jumping and landing safely. Fractured ankles can become unstable, and can make tabbing impossible. Unless recruits are given the chance to master the more dangerous parts of their training before they are pushed, we will continue to see military compensation claims brought for careers that are cut short.
