Veterans' Retreat Village helps plug a hole

The lack of care provided by the MoD to wounded personnel and those suffering for PTSD has been highlighted by the charitable foundation of the Veterans’ Retreat Village in County Durham. Those of us who deal every day with military compensation claims know how poor the government’s provision is for all but a very few. It’s wonderful that charity is helping to plug the gap, but it would be nice to think that the MoD had noticed there was a need - and done something about it - first.
