Tweed Run

On Saturday I was involved in the Tweed Run - a cycle ride around central London with around 400 people wearing tweed and cycling on vintage bicycles. It was a fantastic event, with a very friendly bunch of people.
The event was in aid of raising money for Bikes4Africa - a charity which takes used bikes from the UK and sends them to Africa to enable children to get to school when they live many miles away. The charity also teaches bike maintenance skills to the children so that they can look after their bicycles. This helps the children to continue with their education and to support themselves in the future.
