All the signs are that we have to brace ourselves for a return to the tortuous case planning and budgeting recently ditched (in a moment of enlightenment) by the LSC and now likely to be imposed by the Court for clinical negligence cases. Hints are that clinical negligence case planning will be similar to the pilot scheme now being run in the Birmingham Technology and Construction Court. Excel spreadsheets will rule.
