Teachers fear of being sued based on a "myth"

Children are being denied school trips for fear teachers will be sued if an accident happens, however according to new research this fear is based on a "myth". The Countryside Alliance found that there have been only 156 recorded legal actions which resulted in compensation over the last 10 years. This is another example to support the fact that there is no compensation culture in this country and teachers should stop wrapping children in cotton wool and learn to manage the risk.
