Split caps litigation continues

The fallout continues from the miss selling of split capital investment trusts in the late 1990s. I have made further progress in litigation against a firm of solicitors who ran a failed class action against financial advisors guilty of miss selling these financial products. My clients are well on the way to recovering compensation from the firm of solicitors who allowed the litigation to fall apart without advising the clients that in fact they should be approaching the financial services ombudsman who could investigate the claims for free and award compensation. It remains to be seen whether history will repeat itself with Personal Protection Insurance as the offending product.
