Sex assault Koran tutor is jailed

Yusuf Mangera, a tutor who indecently assaulted a girl over 28 years ago, was sentenced on 10 December 2009 at Leicester Crown Court to two and a half years imprisonment. The Detective Constable, who led the case, said it’s never too late for someone to come forward if they have been a victim of child abuse. Victims of this crime, often live with the fact that they have been abused for many years, without disclosing it to anyone, let alone the police. The good news is, this case highlights that justice can be done years later.
