Personal injury claims helped by cycle cameras

The Sunday Times ran an article this weekend about more and more cyclists taking to wearing miniature cameras on their helmets to catch rogue drivers. The cameras which cost as little as £15, can be easily attached to the helmet and could prove beneficial when trying to establish liability in a road traffic accident if it is being contested. Cyclists often end up taking the brunt of any accident which can result in catastrophic injuries or a fatality. The use of camera footage in these instances would help not only police with successful prosecutions but also the injured party in trying to succeed with a claim for compensation.
