Personal Injury Solicitor bashing

Everyone seems to be personal injury solicitor bashing at the moment. I was disappointed to see that John Stapleton has jumped on the bandwagon in his blog on the Manchester Evening news website last week. He refers to the story of the WI women in Shropshire being unable to tend to the garden beside the railway track and the banning of apple bobbing in Parrs Wood as health and safety madness. I was however pleased to see that someone is sticking up for the personal injury solicitors. David Bott the vice president of APIL wrote to the newspaper pointing out that the blog is evidence of a widespread misunderstanding of our health and safety laws and whilst accidents happen, negligence is inexcusable.
