MoD cuts are dangerous

Several of my clients were deployed back to Iraq or Afghanistan when they were already suffering from PTSD or other mental health problems. They were in remission, ok, and they wanted to go – but here’s the thing; it made them worse, and now they’ve got (expensive) compensation claims against the MoD. If even now service personnel who are physically fit are at a premium and are sometimes deployed at the expense of their mental health, isn’t it going to get worse if manning levels are cut in the spending rounds?
