LFGSS at Cycle Show 2010

I spent my Saturday helping the good people at the London-Fixed Gear and Single Speed forum run a stand at this year's annual Cycle Show in Earl's Court. There were other forum members at the stand with expertise in cycle training, bike polo, etc. I was there to give accident advice to people who had been involved in cycling accidents and to see whether they could be entitled to compensation.

The stand was a great success, and I think it was the most popular and colourful stands at the show. People were particularly impressed with the photomontage made up of hundreds of pictures sent in from people at the forum, which depicted a scene of a cyclist with the LFGSS logo in the background. It looked amazing!

I met some great people on the day and was lucky enough to chat with representatives from across the cycling world, including innovative manufacturers, a member of the police cycle department and a spokesperson from the London Courier Emergency Fund. All in all, a great day!

In other news, we have updated our cycling pages to include information on developments in the law. There is also a snappy program for sketching the road layouts for accidents:
