Insurers do not work for innocent victims!

They work for their shareholders! So, the Association of British Insurers (ABI) 's claim that they "want to help innocent victims...get the care and compensation they need" should be treated with some healthy scepticism.

Insurers' first duty is to their shareholders. When they approach injured people directly offering to settle compensation claims they do so knowing that they simply cannot and do not act in the best interests of the injured person. Thank you, APIL, for exposing the ABI's attempt to defend itself following the Northern Ireland Law Society report that highlights bad behaviour of insurers in third party capture.
