Headway East London event at the House of Lords

Marilene Antoni and I attended an event at the House of Lords last night as a guest of Headway East London. We got to meet some of the members, the trustees and the chairman. There were some truly inspirational people there including one member who despite suffering a brain injury in a road traffic accident has gone on to obtain a degree. We were shown a short film made by two of the members who are still suffering from the effects of brain injury. We came away with renewed enthusiasm to organise the various fund raising events that we have planned over the next 12 months to raise money for Headway East London to help them continue the fantastic work that they do for people with brain injuries.
