FSA washes its hands of third party capture

.. just as insurers announce a major advertising campaign to persuade personal injury claimants in motor accidents to bypass solicitors and deal with directly with the responsible party's insurers. The result can only be more under-settled claims as insurers pressure injured people to accept compensation without the independent legal advice of their own solicitor. Bleak news indeed for claimants.
