26.2 miles for the NSPCC!

As Managing Partner I like to think that I am good at leading teams - but this one has been a real personal challenge for me. Not because we don't have a great team but just because at the final hurdle I have some injury problems that are really interfering with my ability to run the distance. What I have learnt about myself is that I really am not all that good at dealing with failure! However I haven't given up yet and I am allowed back in the gym tomorrow.

Our team has been training since January - between us in training we will run at least 15,000 miles! All of us have completed a half marathon - most of us in Bristol on 6th September. We have struggled against the weather, work pressure, family pressure and injuries to make sure we all get to the start line in just 6 weeks time. The partners in Bolt Burdon and Bolt Burdon Kemp are covering all the expenses so that every penny raised can go directly to the NSPCC.
