Lynn's house for sale
December 19, 2007
The home of allegedly negligent solicitor, Michael Lynn, has been ordered to be put up for sale, Irish broadcaster RTE has reported.
The sale was ordered by an Ireland's High Court - where Mr Lynn is on trial for solicitor negligence.
He is currently missing after failing to turn up to court last week - and, it has been claimed, has left the country.
Mr Lynn was discovered to have perpetrated alleged property scamS, prompting the Law Society to investigate his business dealings - which, in turn, has resulted in the High Court solicitor negligence trial.
Around €80 million of apparently illegal property loans are under investigation.
Rory O'Farrell was appointed as receiver by the court - and given the power to take possession and sell the house, in Dublin's upscale Howth suburb.
An auction for the property is to be held in the New Year.
