PTSD is shamefully ignored

Like the soldier who recently won compensation from the MoD, many of my clients’ PTSD goes untreated, even when it’s recognised. We shouldn’t forget that PSTD has been well-known to the military since the First World War. In those days it was called shell shock, and branded cowardice. Outrageous, but is it much better to ignore it, which is what happens now, then send these guys back to fight again? And is it any wonder they then have to claim for their wounded lives?
