Military cut-backs start to bite

We are seeing the impact of the cuts to MoD funding as more military personnel are made redundant due to pre-existing medical conditions. We are regularly contacted by people who have successfully served with conditions, such as asthma, for many years but have now been medically or administratively discharged. Although it does not always lead to a military compensation claim, there are often employment issues that need to be investigated if someone is unfairly selected for redundancy or discharge. We always recommend that clients contact us for advice, as they may need to be referred to a military employment specialist.
