Good News for Injured Service Personnel

Military personnel suffering the most serious of injuries will welcome this decision to bring forward the review of the 2005 Armed Forces Compensation Scheme. The current scheme is inadequate to meet the needs of those who require lifetime nursing care, adapted housing, prosthetics, aids and equipment. The MOD should, as a matter of course, inform their injured personnel that they can still seek legal advice on their award and, most importantly, that they have not lost the right to bring a civil claim (where relevant) through the courts.
