Child abuse survivor calls for the Pope to apologise to Ireland

Following the Murphy Report, which revealed a catalogue of clerical child abuse and three decades of cover ups, unprecedented talks are under way with Pope Benedict XVI and 24 senior clergymen of the Irish Catholic Church. Michael O'Brien, an abuse survivor and former Fianna Fail politician has called on the Pope to apologise to the people of Ireland.
