AvMA Conference Training Session

As a clinical negligence solicitor, one of the main annual training events is the AvMA conference. AvMA stands for Action against Medical Accidents, and is a charity that provides assistance to those who think that they have suffered an injury as a result of medical treatment. They also operate a helpline, which I work on once a month. The conference brings together clinical negligence solicitors from all areas of the country, to receive training on legal and medical issues from senior doctors and lawyers. There is also a lively dinner and dance on the Friday night, where everyone can relax and enjoy themselves, before another day of lectures on the Saturday!
