All out of Germany by 2020

The MoD has announced the withdrawal of all 20,000 UK troops from the German bases where they have been stationed since the end of WW2. 10,000 will be gone by 2015. The massive cuts that are currently working their way through home-based troops and support staff mean that these will be mainly relocations and not redundancies, but we really hope the MoD has looked at the medical provision needed for the returning soldiers. UK Med Centres are already overstretched, which is one reason why we’re busy with military compensation claims. Adding 20,000 potential patients is unlikely to help.
