Lynne Burdon
After education at a Quaker school in North Yorkshire and a Maths degree at University College London I qualified as a solicitor in 1980. I specialised in commercial property and general commercial work which I practised for more than 20 years. I now work more in an advisory role and particularly enjoy helping clients with strategic business decisions.
I am the managing partner and am very proud of the reputation we have developed amongst our peers and competitors for being innovative and well run. I am particularly proud of our flexible working policy designed to attract and retain the very best staff. In 1998 I obtained an MBA in legal practice to complete my formal management training. I am also a master practitioner of NLP.
I am very active in the local community. I am a board member of Islington Chamber of Commerce (Past President) and of The Islington Strategic Partnership. I am also a director of Chance UK a local charity providing mentoring to disadvantaged children.
When I am not working I enjoy time with my two teenage children. I love horse riding in remote areas, skiing anywhere with snow and sailing where the sea is warm. I believe holidays are important!
