Elaine
Smith
Elaine joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in September 2011 and is a solicitor in the professional negligence team. Her cases mostly involve claims against solicitors who have been negligent in a wide range of cases from conveyancing to probate to personal injury.
Elaine studied history at the University of Leicester before undertaking the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London, achieving a distinction in both. Elaine trained with a Legal 500 firm in south east London and on qualification moved to a small firm in North London where she specialised in general litigation and found cases arising from professional negligence particularly interesting.
Outside of work, Elaine enjoys travelling, going to concerts and the theatre and reading.
