Cheryl qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and is a Partner at Bolt Burdon Kemp.
Cheryl is a personal injury specialist and has extensive experience of conducting all types of personal injury claims. She is a skilled litigator and is extremely committed to her work and her clients. She prides herself on being approachable, a good listener and going the extra mile to get the best results possible for her clients.
Cheryl regularly deals with high value (over £250,000) and complex cases.
Cheryl’s niche area is cases involving children and particularly children who have suffered brain injuries. Cheryl is currently acting on behalf of several child clients who have suffered serious injuries in road traffic accidents, for example a nine year old who suffered a brain injury and orthopaedic injuries after being knocked over by a car. Cheryl is also acting on behalf of several clients who have suffered serious injuries whilst in the care of a day nursery.
After completing her LLB Law Degree, Cheryl took some time out to travel around Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia, before returning to embark on the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law where she was awarded a Commendation. Cheryl successfully completed her solicitors training with a firm in East London which was well regarded for its personal injury work, particularly for the work that it carried out on behalf of various trade unions. This enabled Cheryl to gain considerable experience in relation to accidents at work cases. Cheryl continued to develop her skills and experience and joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in 2004.
Cheryl is a Senior Litigator member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, and a volunteer at the Islington Law Centre. To compliment her work on behalf of brain injured clients, she is a committed member of Headway - the brain injury organisation and coordinates Bolt Burdon Kemps fundraising activities for Headway East London. Cheryl writes articles for the legal press.
Outside of work Cheryl enjoys yoga, comedy and film and is an Advanced Scuba Diver.
