Catherine joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in May 2010 as a newly qualified solicitor specialising in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury claims.
Catherine has a particular interest in medico-legal issues and patient’s rights. She read Law and Accounting at the University of Manchester (2:1) before going on to complete a masters degree in Human Rights Law at Leicester University (distinction). She completed the Legal Practice Course with distinction at BPP in London in 2007.
Catherine trained with Blake Lapthorn, a large regional firm in the South East, where she gained relevant experience in clinical negligence, personal injury and regulatory law. She also received training in property and family law.
Outside of work, Catherine enjoys travelling, socialising, comedy, the theatre and reading (mainly on the train). She keeps active through swimming, cycling, trekking and playing for her local football team.
