From the very first meeting with my solicitor, Philippa Tuckman, I noticed what a professional outfit Bolt Burdon Kemp were. I had never had any dealings with people like this before because of my military background, so was quite nervous about what to expect, but I soon felt very positive that they were doing everything and more they could do with my case. I served our Queen and country in the Brigade of Gurkhas, completing 17 years of loyal and dedicated service. My cause of leaving was ceasing to fulfil Army medical requirements, that is, becoming permanently medically unfit for any form of army service.

After being medically discharged from the British Army in 2006 I felt totally stranded with no support from the Brigade or the British Army.
