Raquel Siganporia
Raquel is a solicitor at Bolt Burdon Kemp specialising in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury claims.
Raquel trained at Bindmans and joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in July 2008, qualifying in September 2008. Prior to working at Bolt Burdon Kemp, she worked for two other city firms doing both defendant and claimant work in personal injury and clinical negligence.
Raquel has dealt with a variety of cases and has assisted solicitors with high value claims which involved brain damage, spinal cord injuries, fatal accidents, accidents at work, injuries sustained during medical treatment, Road Traffic Accidents and Inquests.
Raquel has a special interest in spinal cord injuries and disability issues, and has given presentations and lectures on paralysis and wheelchair access. She is a member of APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers).
She has also worked as a legal advisor for the Citizens Advice Bureau, and prior to this, as a Teaching Assistant at a secondary school in West London where she co-ordinated the Magistrate Court Annual Competition.
Outside of work Raquel enjoys throwing dinner parties, socialising and reading. Raquel also enjoys fundraising and volunteering with the Newman Holiday Trust.
